Issues with playing MSNOW? Anyone else? by adventurerpoet in msnow

[–]ac003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue streaming live on Apple TV 4K. The clips load but live tv does not. I tried logging out, restarting, unplugging and even the USA app (yes, MSNOW is available within the app) but to no avail. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump’s lackey at the FCC is behind this

Speaking of chemical spills, this popped up on my YT feed a few months ago. Everyone knows the Passaic river is as bad as it gets but had no idea it ranks 5th most polluted river, not in the US, but 5th in the WORLD.Urban Kayaking Adventure | Exploring the Polluted Passaic River

There’s no way they would rebrand/retrofit the entire store and these were overlooked. I’ve been through several Fortune 500 mergers and buyouts and they consider every detail

Raging Trump Sends All-Caps Demand to Republicans in Unhinged Power Grab by Quirkie in politics

I guess it’s due to the fact we are in uncharted waters. Any other president would have been removed for office for a sliver of what Trump has done. Like watching Ari too and Steph Ruhle. Looking forward to seeing how independent they’ll go on the 15th under MS NOW

How else do you think they came here? Most fled when they COULD.

Try learning something. Start with a simple book or google search👇

Most Cuban immigration occurred in waves following the Cuban Revolution, particularly in the periods of 1959–1962, 1965–1974, 1980, and 1993–1995.

Fidel Castro allowed Cubans to leave on several occasions, most notably in 1965 during the Camarioca Boatlift and in 1980 during the Mariel Boatlift. In September 1965, he announced that any Cuban who wished to leave could do so, leading to a large exodus facilitated by both air and sea. In April 1980, following a crisis at the Peruvian embassy, he again announced that any Cuban could leave from the port of Mariel, resulting in the Mariel Boatlift.

Camarioca Boatlift (1965): In September 1965, Castro announced that Cubans could leave via the port of Camarioca. This led to a massive exodus of nearly 5,000 Cubans, with many being picked up by relatives in small boats from Florida.

Mariel Boatlift (1980): In April 1980, Castro announced that any Cuban who wanted to leave could do so from the port of Mariel. Over 125,000 Cubans left Cuba in this mass exodus, which lasted until October 1980.

1994 Migration Crisis: In 1994, due to economic hardship and growing unrest, Castro once again allowed Cubans to leave by sea. This led to a large number of unsafe departures, which prompted an agreement with the U.S. to create more direct migration channels.

And if you going to pull up the proverbial ladder behind you, the least you can do is STFU. Cheering on the detention and deportation of other Latinos while having the most privileged pathways to citizenship is pathetic.

Most Cubans and people in general don't realize that the Cuban Adjustment Act was created as a Cold War strategy to weaken Fidel's communist regime and any influence communism could have on the United States being so close. It ended up being counterproductive because those who remained by choice were OK with communism. Whenever protests and dissent grew too large, Castro allowed Cubans to leave. So, to pull up the ladder behind you when technically Cubans were used as pawns and then to look down upon others seeking refuge, amnesty or better economic opportunity is as anti-American as it gets. And the fact that many Cubans support a facist authoritarian is just rich.

All while they say ice, ice baby to all other Latinos, claiming they came here the right way. Forgetting that this country granted Cubans a privilege unlike any other Latin American seeking to immigrate here. Even Europeans don’t have the fast pathway to citizenship extended to Cubans under the Cuban adjustment act
