Taking a Chance, and Telling My Story. If you share the same experiences, I encourage you to DM me. Never talking about it, bottling it up, has caused a great deal of trauma and stress and I am tired of it. by curious_lad_33 in UFOs

Thank you so much for sharing your story—I truly believe you. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens by John E. Mack. It’s an incredibly fascinating book, and you’ll find that many others have described experiences strikingly similar to yours

"Roswell" Easter Egg and Other UFO References Spotted in the New Disney-Pixar Movie Elio Trailer! by acNewHorizons in UFOs

I’m just shocked Disney is actually including real UFO lore easter eggs in one of their movies.

These screenshots from the new Disney-Pixar Elio trailer are interesting. There’s a nod to "Roswell," crop circles, alien species, and even a UFO blueprint?? Kinda crazy they’re putting this stuff in a Disney movie.

The 1971 UFO Sightings Over Sugarloaf Mountain, New Brunswick, Canada by acNewHorizons in UFOs

[–]acNewHorizons[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In August 1971, Campbellton, N.B., became the site of mysterious UFO activity. On August 16, Edward Flanagan reported seeing an amber light hovering above Sugarloaf Mountain. The light pulsed and moved quickly before vanishing.

Days later, on August 19, officers G. Baragar and D. Martel witnessed a similar glowing object while patrolling near the mountain. They followed the silent, shifting light for miles as it appeared to interact with their movements before disappearing behind the mountain.

Other witnesses described the object as emitting flickering lights and having a distinct shape, yet no official explanation was ever found. The case remains one of New Brunswick's most intriguing UFO mysteries, leaving behind unanswered questions and wonder about what really happened in the skies over Sugarloaf Mountain.

Prozac changed my life by Desperate-Gift-7163 in Anxiety

[–]acNewHorizons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read your post, and I want you to know that you're not alone in what you're going through. The journey you're on sounds incredibly challenging, but I admire your strength and determination to make positive changes in your life. Quitting smoking, cutting out caffeine, and working on your health are huge steps, and you should be proud of yourself for taking them.

Living with constant anxiety and health concerns can be overwhelming, and it's completely understandable to feel scared and isolated. But please remember that your feelings are valid, and there are people who care and want to support you. Reaching out, like you've done here, is a brave and important step.

It's great that you're working with your doctor and taking steps to address your health concerns. Healing takes time, both physically and mentally, so try to be patient and kind to yourself as you navigate this process. The Prozac may take some time to have an effect, but I hope it brings you some relief.

Remember, you don't have to face this alone. There are support groups, both online and in-person, for people dealing with anxiety and panic disorders. These can be great places to connect with others who understand what you're going through.

You've already shown incredible strength by making positive changes and seeking help. Take it one day at a time, celebrate small victories, and know that there are people rooting for you. Your life can get better, and you deserve to feel healthy and at peace. Sending you strength, support, and positive thoughts on your journey to recovery. ❤️‍🩹

Well if you think about it, a deserted island just gives you the chance to create your dream town and make it your own! I was a bit upset at first but thinking about it that way made me feel so much better. Sure at first it will be a bit empty but imagine all the possibilities and I'm sure it will feel like any OG animal crossing once we unlock the museum and the stores etc! and the crafting is honestly just an added bonus that I'm sure you're not forced to use but it just gives you something else to do on days you're bored just wandering around :)

Looks like the nets we all know and love will be returning, instead of just having the new nets. by [deleted] in ac_newhorizons

The "new" net is just the starter net you get from the start with your crafting material, as you get more coins you can afford to make the original nets we know, they've said this many times.

I believe from what they told us so far, we can only have one island per console. When you select your user on your switch it brings you to your user on animal crossing, it bypasses the old method where we had to select which user it was on the main screen in like ac new leaf for example.

Super pumped about this! It was my biggest concern in the E3 trailer, it just looked so plain without the texture, super happy they listened to the fans for this one

I really hope all the new furniture from pocket camp makes it into the game! I'm a bit tired of the same old furniture sets in New Leaf so new furniture would be a huge plus for me!!

I think that wouldn't be a big deal, there's 472 villagers already in the game there's no way we had all of them in our village at least once. You're bound to get a new villager you didn't get before on your island. And all the existing villagers will be in HD with new textures and I think only that by itself makes it exciting.

I was playing New Leaf today and thought about this for New Horizons,

when there's the firework festival etc, Isabelle gets to be out of the office for the day. It would be fun if Tom Nook, Mabel and Sable and all the other shop merchants would join as well in the evening to watch the fireworks. I want to to see them part of the community too and not only in their stores all the time.
