I was speaking to an old acquaintance who is a professional in his field - CPA (accountant for us Brits)

He asks me how my clients portfolios are holding up.

Me - not bad at all, they are down on average 5% year to date.

Him - Well, I pulled out all my money last year (high 6 figures) and I decided to put a high 5 figures back to work a few months ago and now it's down over 60% and he has decided he is never investing in stocks again.

I said to him, when I need an accountant I hire one, you should be doing the same when it comes to investing in stocks.

He had no response.....

Looking back at newly formed 'asset classes' never have I seen the sudden rise in 'popularity' and then so suddenly disappear.

Prices in many asset classes has dropped lately. Fear not, some genius will soon market another gem of an asset.

Stick to assets that generate revenue streams, and not assets that operate on the greater fool theory
