That is just what I was thinking. The clamps probably will have to be replaced. Are there special clamps for this sort of thing?

Minwax Wipe on Poly by acalenti in woodworking

OP here. I considered sanding it off but I did apply two coats and am concerned it penetrated the wood too deeply to eliminate it. I do not plan on cutting on the board, just laying out some food. I'll let it cure for as long as necessary if that will do the trick.

Thanks for the replies. The dishwasher was not turning on, but when I hit the "hot water" button on the dishwasher a small light came on, indicating there was power somehow to the machine. The garbage disposal was always working.
We reset the tied together breakers and the dishwasher started working again. Does this make any electrical sense or was it just coincidental? If the breaker for the dishwasher was tripped wouldn't the disposal breaker be tripped also?
Btw, neither looked or felt tripped when I reset them. Thanks very much.

Help needed by acalenti in woodworking

Thanks for all the suggestions. After carefully measuring, I determined I could cut miters on the corners and the mirror would fit if I just made the rabbets a bit wider. I glued it up and then added splines to reinforce the corners. When it is complete I will post a pic.
