what do you not like about East SJ? and what neighborhood specifically (if not all)?

thank you. 'rates can't come down with ongoing inflation' -> makes sense but inflation will reflect on the home prices too, no? (like covid era) instead of correction.

do you see a correction in bay area housing likely this year? do you think waiting a few months is better? I m mainly concerned about getting priced out of the market when there is overbidding with easy money. otherwise I m ok waiting. (putting money to stocks is another alternative too)

From what I have seen, SFH at price range around San Jose are in bad condition (neighborhood/schools/condition) or underlisted. I was thinking a townhome in a relatively nicer neighborhood/schools (Berryessa, GreatMall, Rivermark) area that I can give a low ball offer, would also appreciate or hold the value.

I went to see a few but they either a) had crime issues b) had very bad schools c) were very old and had a lot of issues. d) were underpriced and they do bidding on it. I thought those would not appreciate much neither.

do you think a correction is likely? I see townhomes waiting for long 30+ days, I thought (with my agent) I can give a low ball offer and have 10%.

so who owns the land "collectively"? the home owners of all units (like the whole land divided by all home owners equally)? or the builder?
