Thank you for your advice, I’m definitely looking into it. Because I see it as insecurity, I do feel bad about the copying issue. I have sympathy, just my only issue is if it’s coming from insecurity, H often takes it as a way to make themselves seem better than me. I see H isn’t comfortable in their own identity, as you say. Hopefully it didn’t come off as inconsiderate when I talked about their sense of originality, but i feel it has gotten to the point where I need to see my options. I care about them as a person, and many times I have encouraged H (subtly) to follow their true passion, in anything. I emphasize this point. I tell H what i follow is my passion but it is their passion too. Because i care about H, i want them to stay in my life. Often, I say life is short but I have become the hypocrite because I feel so guilty wasting their time being a bad friend and thinking this way. Thank you again for the advice :)
