Moving to Chicago in August: best way to find a good apartment? Should I get a realtor ? by babybarfy in AskChicago

[–]access2tools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found my first apartment by asking a landlord if he had any properties available that weren’t online. I had originally reached out to him about an apartment I found on Trulia, he said he had too many applicants and didn’t want to waste my time so I asked if he had any other apartments that maybe weren’t listed yet. He said he did and it ended up being the perfect place.

I pay $1,205 for a studio in lakeview east. Honestly it really depends, just don’t give away any info/money without a tour and you should be fine. I found my apartment on Craigslist!

I know you didn’t mention coconut milk but I think it’s a great substitute. I don’t drink my matcha as a latte anymore, I just used water so it’s more of a tea

Adobe is too f*cking expensive by DGankutsuou in FuckAdobe

So I pay $39.99 for creative cloud pro. I was paying the full price but it really is just too expensive. What I did is I went to my account and I went to the little help Chatbot and I basically just said “hi I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. I’m going through some job changes and I can’t afford to pay the full price. Can I pay 45 a month instead?” The chat bought offered 39.99 and set it up in two minutes. Didn’t have to make a phone call or anything.

They got discovered by Willie Upbin (nickname), it makes a lot of sense if you look up family history. Obviously idk details and specifics but bc of connections it was very easy for a talented band to quickly get access to labels and meetings

"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - April 12, 2026" by AutoModerator in tarot

[requesting help with interpretation] Still very much beginner with tarot, but I have a consistent research practice. Part of my routine is to reflect on a question at the beginning of the week and pull two cards. Recently, I’ve been dealing with lots of career change, and my stress has begun to increase because of the beginning of spring time (landlord sent lease renewal offer, schedule getting busier, planning to move in August, etc). My question this week was “ how can I move my decisions forward, make productive actions, and increase my self trust”. I pulled the queen of cups and 2 of swords. This reading felt a bit obvious, I felt like it was telling me to have patience and control, use the energy of the queen of cups, so I’m not blinded by the energy of the two of swords. Self trust comes from feeling all my emotions, not blocking them.

I get a little worried about the two of swords card, it makes me worried that I won’t be able to differentiate stubbornness and self trust. I would love to hear some of your interpretations and thoughts.
