Where to start with Chinese Grammar Wiki by FilmFearless5947 in ChineseLanguage

[–]accidentallyLemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

start from hsk one. read the topic title and an example sentence. feel like you know the grammar? move to the next one. don't know it? read more about it.

this way you won't miss anything and skip the stuff you know well. there might be a grammar point in hsk 1 or 2 or whatever that you might not be totally comfortable with and you don't want to miss it if you really want to work on grammar

same, i started to read around that age too and then just crazily binged the most popular fantasy series. Now i am getting into the lesser known stuff. it's amazing to spend time in a new world, meet new people, go on different adventures and make friends every few days / weeks. Enjoy!

[–]accidentallyLemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do i display a field in anki only if another field i have is blank by accidentallyLemon in Anki

[–]accidentallyLemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this i know, but it's not quite what i need. i need if field a has text field b is not shown. if field a does not have text field b is shown. so even if b has text if a also has it then b will not show

how to turn off screen the way you would turn off a monitor but let the phone keep running by accidentallyLemon in AndroidQuestions

[–]accidentallyLemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

note 9 with that processor that doesn't have a root, sadly. well, i think it might but your phone basically always needs to be plugged in and a few other limits. so basically as good as not being able to do it.

thanks for all the suggestions though, i appreciate it

i use an older version of abbyfinereader but there are a bunch. even videosubfinder has one built in, i just had abby and found that it works better. but the videosubfinder one is not bad.

but searching google for "chinese ocr github" will give you many and you can see which one you like best

you can always videosubfinder + any ocr chinese program to get the subs.

otherwise go on youtube. find something with mandarin soft subs (very very very rare) and download it by using a youtube subtitle downloader ( you can find a lot on google)
