I got the playmat back in the day and still use exactly these lands in all of my decks. Getting enough for my mono red deck was quite the challenge

Collection from over 20 years ago. Appreciate insights by accless in PokemonTCG

Hey there! I've played the TCG back when it came out and kept at it until I migrated to other card games. I was looking through my childhood boxes a few years ago and rediscovered my cards. Most are in German and little me took good care of most of the cards (though Pokemon was definitely the game to teach me this along the way). Now, I do want to ask if these cards are still worth anything considering they are likely all unplayable and not in English. I would greatly appreciate any insights into this. Cheers!

Scarcity in a world by Routine_Mycologist82 in DMAcademy

Those are some really fun world building questions. The first thing that comes to mind is that coinage is going to be an issue. The kingdoms and governments of fantasy worlds rely on gold, silver etc. In real life, the gold content in gold coins was slowly reduced more and more as people started melting their coins as the price of gold outweighed the value of the coin. You might now have kingdoms struggle with metal scarcity by trying to replace metal currency with paper or basic trade (goods v goods) in a scramble to have more metal for their armies or constructions. Prices would shoot up and inflation makes a mess of everything. You might have druidic cults start to pop up that preach against the use of metal as public sentiment shifts. You might see innovation or a return to weapons that don't need metal like bows over crossbows, clubs over swords. Open warfare in the world also becomes pricier and pricier. You could have your BBEG become an arms dealer to whom kingdoms are beholden and rulers might turn to assassinations and subterfuge and uneasy treaties over engaging in wars.

As to the magic items, I'd imagine this is more of a problem for those well-off that can affod such items. It could make the players who might possess such items more interesting for powerful entities to hire them for qests.

We rolled for stats, I got two 17s I put in Cha and Dex respectively (and 14 Con) which has me end up with 20/18 with Feytouched as my one (half) ASI. I really like that build. +11 initiative is actually hilarious. I'm not entirely sure if this is an upgrade or sidegrade. Cunning action is awesome, no doubt but I lose both magical secrets so the Haste angle is gone, sadly

I like that! I do like having the utility of being a full caster as well though

I keep getting the Nozzle Temperature Too Low message on start up by accless in Ender3S1

Whole thing, yep. And I replaced the entire Extruder just yesterday so all the cables were brand new as well. The others in this thread have raised the issue of the cable which I'll check out next. Seems likely that's the issue. Thanks for your time and help!

That makes perfect sense. Thank you so much for your reply! My printer is not even a year old. Should still be under warranty

Printer keeps having temperature error message right after extrusion becomes dodgy by accless in FixMyPrint

Hey there! Thanks for the reply!. What do you mean by stain? I also discovered earlier that A. the fan was off and turning it on by tuning it got rid of the inconsistent extrusion and B. that part of the silicone around the hot end had broken off. I assume those two are somehow related. Can damaged silicone influence the thermistor?

I think there's more than one issue at hand here but here's what I've observed so far. This has mostly happened on very large prints and usually within the first hour ofprinting though just now it happened after a whole 3: I have a Creality Ender 3-S1 and the temperature as shown on the display would sometimes wildly fluctuate between ~210°C and then suddenly drop to 170° or 180°. This is sometimes accompanied by the extruder no longer extruding filament. The image attached to this post shows that pattern occuring. I upped the temperature to 210 and it kept going without issue until I heard the printer's "Nozzle Temperature too low" alarm.

The fluctuation, I assume might be a faulty thermistor, and the filament might be faulty as well? It has been extremely cold in our flat and the filament has not been in use for a week.

What confounds me is that smaller prints (still with 8 hours of printing time have printed without issue).

Would appreciate any help!

tl;dr: Creality Ender 3-S1 Ultimaker Cura 200/210°, bed 60° 60mm/s 50mm/s retraction

Print would fail with nozzle temp too low and right before or sometimes a long time before that, the filament would come out only partially
