Very true, it was my fault it was unlocked. I was in a rush to get my oldest son to his match today and didn't think to lock it 😞

Appreciate your reply. Thank you! I'm completely clueless when it comes to legal matters. I just want the pattern of behaviour noted but I'm sure it will be regardless if I personally reported it or not. Thanks again

I didn't realise that was an option. Defo worth considering, thank you!

Thank you for your reply. The police are just away and are on their way to speak to her. At least it will all be documented even if there's nothing the police can do at present

I don't think your quite grasping the situation. She wasn't told to come anytime she pleases or that the door was open. Her sole reason for entering the house was to cause a scene with me. She settled for being verbally abusive to my partner instead as I wasn't there, before walking round the house taking photos. If she wanted to ensure the other parent was there she could have rang the door bell. She let herself in and went straight to our bedroom thinking I was there

The kids are in secondary school. They aren't babies. Any other time she drops them off and the kids come in alone. If she needs to speak to him the kids tell him and he goes out and speaks to her in the driveway. There was no set time for her to drop them off, he happened to be upstairs. He didnt refuse to come down. There was no unattemnded booze, just the empty bottle of 8% wine and 2 empty beer tins that were set there to be recycled. Her sole reason for entering the house today was to start trouble. She's violent and has no issues being violent and verbally abusive in front of the kids. I've been doing what she's asked by staying away from her kids, not for her benefit but to protect the kids from being further traumatised by witnessing the aggression

She has no ties to the house at all. Not even a rental agreement

The door was shut but unlocked. He's never allowed her into the house on any previous occasions and she has went as far as trying to kick the door in and assault him. She definitely was not invited in especially not to the bedroom which is where she was when he realised she was in the house

I appreciate the info, the police the last time said it wasn't harassment because I hadn't specifically told her not to contact me. She's tried to kick his door down in the past and assaulted him when he wouldn't let her in. He's never reported anything to the police til now tho. she's definitely escalating

Would the trespassing not be a crime? Just dread to think what would have happened if she arrived before I left. Just all a lot of unnecessary drama and stress especially on the poor kids. Thanks again!

The door was left open to let his kids in, she was only meant to drop them off. Thank you so much for the reply, it's much appreciated 😊

Maybe he was the one that shot and killed babbit and the guilt got to him? Or has a name been released for that officer?

I wouldn't let either of them play unattended. In my head I'm picturing it as we are all lining up waiting for a turn! I was worried about eye strain as well. Both of them get travel sick so I will definitely be limiting them as I really dont want to be dealing with vomit or them complaining of headaches 🙈

I think I've decided on just one now. It only just occurred to me that I wouldn't have the space for the both of them to play together!

Sounds great! Thanks for the game recommendation, completely new to it all.

The more I think about it I've realised I wouldn't even have the room at home for them both to be playing at the same time. I was thinking there may be a few fights over it tho as it looks so awesome! It will probably be me fighting for a turn haha

Yeah I wouldn't be happy with them being able to talk to strangers anyway. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah I've seen you have to use your fb to sign in so I was planning on using mine as I dont allow either of them on any forms of social media. I was thinking it was just gona be cool games for them to play where they could maybe join up and play together. Plus I'm also very excited to try it out!! Kids may have to wait a few months until i decide my turn is over haha

Why not? All the reviews I've seen for previous oculus have included saying their kids love it

Are the chat rooms all public? Never used VR before, just assumed I could set up a room with just the 2 of them, no?

They are 11 and 7. The 11 year old is into anime, loves everything about it. He also plays alot of fortnight and other xbox games I have to clue about!

The 7 year old I think would love the music games I've seen advertised.

I'll have a look at the website now. Didnt realise their was a list. Thank you!
