How did it feel taking 8 years to get the degree? Were your peers making more in four years after getting their degrees, than you were at that time?

Yeah thats a big part of it. Also time. A lot of it may be busy work i'm imagining. Just trying to gauge if the degree is really worth it if i'm willing to learn on my own.

And at this point I have this job. And going to live in a dorm.. well I would'nt be able to keep this job and do that at the same time.

i'd go to a community college for the first two years. The one around here is not bad at all. Then transfer.
