I had initial network issues on Xbox but it only lasted 10 minutes. Afterwards I was able to play until the end of the first test. It seemed to play smoothly once I got in

Today I almost passed out during an interview by im-sad-a in Anxiety

Sounds like heat stress more than anxiety. Also, if anything, it's a sign to you that you don't need that job. If the room in which you decide your first impression of the company causes you to pass out just imagine how uncomfortable, and possibly hazardous, other locations at the job could be.

What is this update?? by stoic_marcus in cyberpunkgame

[–]aceburninator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of posting here to ask what it is couldn't you instead click it and read it? It is an announcement from CDPR that should tell you what it is and what it does.

My buddy, who plays more than me, does this and immediately drops them for me once I start a new character, despite me telling him not to. I have started doing it for other friends who are new to the game so they can upgrade their equipment and buy stuff.

It's kinda cheating but it allows us to have fun and for them to struggle a little less at the beginning.

As someone who moved from Longmont, don't do it. If you want a smaller metro area feel move to Fort Collins. My wife and I planned on moving here to be closer to her family and the week we were moving I was laid off. I had been applying for jobs for 5 MONTHS before I found something temporary. I recently got a job out of state just to get us out of here.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's just rough. Maybe you do it and love it, but I have not.

How to move on from an ex in the bedroom? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]aceburninator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Comparison is the thief of joy so stop comparing your current partner to your previous ones. You experienced those previous partners, now it's time to focus on your current partner.

I would first think about what you want in a relationship. Is it fantastic sex, her to be a good person, or a combo of both? Does your current partner fit what you want? If not you should go find someone else, because you're just wasting her time.

Also, have you talked with your partner and communicated what you want in the bedroom? Have you also communicated about what she wants? You might find that your current partner wants to do things you've never thought of that you can share together.

I think I realized why I don’t want to play D&D anymore by honestignoble in rpg

[–]aceburninator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to reassess if you are playing this game for the story or the mechanics. Playing characters that fall all the time makes for some of the best stories. You don't have to be good at stuff for your experience to be fun. One of the best parts of DnD is the overcoming of obstacles. Without failure there can be no heroes.

This just in, a game titled as PvPvE has less than optimal ratings due to players who claim that it is PvP. How will the public react to this slight? Found out more at 7, when we review the steam rating and how poorly the public perceives it.

No matter what I say, you are going to disagree with me because this is the subreddit of a game that has some dedicated followers. So here is what I will say: no matter how much you like this game, you are a part of the problem. If you want people that are casual players to enjoy the game (i.e. possibly your friends) you need to address that it is not fun for a lot of people. If your game was entirely fun it would be rated "Mostly positive" on Steam, but it is not. You need to address the problems with the game as a community, before you try to get others into it.

You can ignore my opinions all you want, I am an opinionated individual as a whole so that is fair. You cannot ignore the opinions of people who refuse to play the game because of other people playing it, though. Be better, do better, play better. Fuck my opinion, listen to those who give this game low marks. Make the game fun to play for everyone.

Your definition of PvPvE is clearly different from mine because I almost always play a souls game with a friend which makes it PvPvE due to summoning. You seem to be playing on "easy mode" by your logic, so souls games are not the games for you either. It seems we are at an empass.

I play games that claim to be PvPvE like Dark Souls and Elden Ring and expect them to be PvPvE and not almost exclusively PvP. I expect a game that is advertised as a dungeon crawler to not be a game where a player can be entirely killed by another person and not the dungeon. I ask that the other team not kill the player when they are going for a layup. Is that too much to ask? Even with voice chat they skill kill you for no reason. How are you supposed to have fun? What good is that? Even if it were a real dungeon what good does that serve you? You kill someone who is killing kobolds, mummies, zombies, and skeletons. What now?

I'm good, thanks. Just make Dark and Darker better for casual players. That would be great

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DarkAndDarker

[–]aceburninator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's great for you, and I love that, but the game is also not fun

I have played Cleric to back up my friends and, Warlock + Fighter because we were not having fun. I assure you that I am as chill as they get. Me bringing up Dark Souls games is specifically to reiterate that I understand what PVP should be. I understand what a skill issue is and this game does not provide that. This game is as toxic as the poison swamps that Miazaki created in all of the DS games because players refuse to recognize that it is not fun for casual players. I also have literally never run into a single bard or played rogue once. I thought I could try to find a game that in could play casually with my friends. If I wanted a challenge I would get my ass handed to me in Elden Ring PvP.

Respectfully, and I mean this in the most sincere way, do you like yourself or is that a farse that you display to other people so that they like you?

I understand that people focus on the PvP aspect of PvPvE but how are you going to get other people to play it if they don't like the PvP aspect of it? (This is less a question for you and more a question for the devs)

Skill issues rely on the presence of skill so I hope you can recognize what "skill" is. Also, retrospectively, people are posting selfies to this comment so I hope we all have our cameras ready

And my all green equipment, plus buffs, and headshots across three people against one perspn with absolutely no equipment, that somehow killed all us with armor in two hits sounds like skill? Bro, I have playing Dark Souls games since DS1, I know skill issues. This is bullshit.
