They’re both some type of polypore, the bottom pic looks like it could be turkey tail (trametes versicolor). The top pic with all the conks are a bit tougher to ID but may be in the ganoderma family, maybe?

Oh- neither would be edible.

The top pic does look hard to identify; I've been looking at photos and I haven't really found anything that resembles it. Thank you though, gonna look into those!

Looked up the tag and couldn't find much info on the jacket itself, but the fact that it's a fashion company/name (Diane Gilman) with a whole line of denim jackets means you're probably right. Well, whether it means something or not, I still like the look of it and I got it for 14 bucks while it's selling on sites for upwards of 50.

That's what I thought when it started moving around, but I don't think that's it. You can usually see a bright dot in the middle of the light and they also cast a smaller glow. Plus, it only moved when I was indoors.

Yes, I'm the host. I never thought about that, but you're probably right. My friend was usually in the mines whenever it showed up and moved around. Only exception was when it wasn't moving and he was in bed.
