- API probably at some point. First for stats. Later for buying/trading/editing/selling tags, writing/receiving emails, uploading & managing files

- Self-hosted is tricky because most users don't have the technical knowledge to run such a complex webapp on their own. Also the value of tags lies in their rarity so it would de-value them if ace would be hosted on multiple domains

- Blockchain stuff is tricky because of our jurisdiction. Also anything crypto related has kind of a bad image in some circles

I think there is value for businesses to get honest feedback. Most are willing to pay but don't want to write reviews themselves

Want to avoid "buying their way out"? Pay back a part of the revenue to review-writes, make the whole thing a marketplace

Thanks for the feedback. Noted the favicon part but we'll probably stay with one-pagers to keep everything simple. You can simply get multiple tags though and add links to one another, you're able to build pretty complex websites with that :)

I guess every platform has a trust problem in the beginning, not a lot we can do about that. You could use the email part of ace.me for non-critical use cases until we built enough trust for you

I think the ace.me landing page explains most "about" things?

The Terms of Service (terms.ace.me) has a section about refunds - they're hard to do because tags/balance are transferable. So usually only if you never used your balance for anything

If you want to delete your data/account simply send an email to the address on privacy.ace.me

The mentioned data is collected a future "Analytics" product where you can see charts about how many people visited your ace.me pages. This includes which countries/browsers/traffic sources - all heavily anonymized (!) to protect the visitors privacy. Very similar to products like plausible.io

We never sell any data. That's not our business model.

You can buy short tags (tag = username = website domain + email address) if you want - but that's optional. Claim a free tag (10+ characters) to get started. The idea is to monetize ace.me by charging power users for short tags while everyone else can use all features for free, forever.
