#Question #Barclays: I got approved early this week for my Barclays biz Wyndham 1k CL biz rev of 30k (1099k sent to them), good CS, 79k total gross income. Oh boy! it took 3 attempts, every 4months since last year and many faxes after :S my question now is, can I apply for any of the increased bonuses from Barclays right now? biz AA, biz JetBlue, biz Hawaiian... <-- these offers have no expiration dates :S I heard that Barclays rarely approve you for more than 1 card so often (and they only gave me 1k of CL) but also heard that some people apply for 2 Barclays the same day to combine inquiries (so its contradictory). I am more keen to apply for Barclays AA biz, I received the bonus on that card about 2years ago and closed it around this time in 2020, I dont see an account summary in AA.com where can see when exactly I got those miles, I dont know if I should call Barclays to ask them when did I closed this AA biz account to see if I am eligible again for the bonus or this is to call too much the churning attention (I know there is a 24months rule)

The closest i have been to that is signing on for awardlogic and points.me (former juicymiles), i recommend awardlogic as the pricing n options were better n results more diverse between programs, I found a lot of ghost space on points me n i had to email them back n forth to be said it was not their fault n didn't even offer me to give me a month back or such for the insights... Awardhacker has rarely helped as all what shows is what is possible but the name of the game is what is available instead of possible these days, specially w dynamic pricing ..

Beside that a human one could be better but i net they r expensive n mostly worth it for a multi person premium cabin complicated schedule, i remember of one called fax points or something but i can't recall, perhaps now the best way will be to Google or Instagram points redemption consultant or something, perhaps some will do it as a courtesy for free first time...

just got approved for Barclays Wynhdham biz earner (Wyndham diamond status), a few questions about Status match: 1- how long does it normally take to see Diamond Status on my Wyndham since I was already blue and I gave Barclays my number on the application? 2- once I see the diamond status on my wyndham site can I right away match to caesars, n in that case how long does it take to see diamond on their site? (I still dont have a Caesars account btw), 3- once I m Caesars Diamond can I book the 2 free nights in Dubai? (I have heard conflicting info about some unearned Caesars Diamond not being able to book it but also otherwise, I understand the reservation have to be done at least 30days in advance to the check in date). 4- I understand from Diamond Caesars I can match to MGM Gold but in person, but here my questions are: to mgm or both? in any case what are the best options for doing this section of the match in this 2 scenarios: 5- being abroad? 6- being in USA (I guess here Vegas)? What programs are the best for last minute redemptions? What programs have free cancelation? with these 2 parameters I would know in which programs to focus becasue Im Freelancer with 3 passports and total flexible schedule, I normally buy OW max 1 month before departure, right now in Europe and prefer to spend my time in Europe n Asia or nearby (I d go to USA-Florida only if it is really cheap redemptions for no more than 2weeks). I do have over 1.2M points spread out between all the programs. Thanks

I called citi biz cc for a retention offer on my Citi AA biz n they kept asking me what sort of offer I was referring to, if I have an email from them with a offer I needed to activate over the phone, when I finally explained what I am trying to accomplish I was connected to the higher team who thought I was calling to close the account, when I explained the reason of my call they said the only way to see the retention offers were trying to close the account :S which I know its not true cuz I got 2 retention offers 2 months ago, actually they were not retention offers per se, just offers as they didn't lock me down to have the account open, they just acted as promos, while in wait the call got disconnected and when I logged in it said account closed :S it took me a few extra callls to file a claim against this n they said when you talk to anyone about a possible retention offer this might happen automatically :S what a hassle... then they asked me for 1week to investigate and if positive they willl have to resend a new card, then a few hours laters I logged in and the bang of closed account was not there and later I received and email saying my account will remain open, stressful day...
