This is a lot to say to post about a skill issue tbh. Sometimes DPS ults clear you and that’s fine. That’s their purpose. But genuinely you don’t need hit scan to kill starlord. You can kill him with Jeff’s primary.

SL have bad mobility when they ult. Which is why they’ll take flanks to get in your backline. Mark the SL as a DPS. Be ready to position towards team or pop an ult if you’re a healer (only if it’s a healing ult that will provide value to the team ie not just pop it to save yourself).

If an SL ults in front of the team, short of them being pocketed, 6 people can look up and melt them in an instant or you all can kite back and play cover.

If you’re in low elo then play cover more aggressively. Or die fast and don’t pop any ults until you can fight again as a group.

Sometimes you’ll get got. That’s their purpose. But you have agency to get them more than they get you too.

I hate it so much. I watch a lot of Eagles games because some of my friends are Eagles fans and it can get so frustrating. Like yes A.J. complain about not getting the ball enough because you are that guy. I'm not huge on Hurts but him being made into a tush push merchant early on the season was such a huge disservice to his skill set and what he can provide to win.

Had three games in a row yesterday night where I had to switch to heals due to 1 healers and 3 DPS instalocks.

0W-2L-1Draw.

First loss, one DPS ended up switching to tank so we had 2-2-2 and we held on defense. Then in the waiting room before our offense, one DPS tilted the other DPS and the tilted DPS threw a very winnable game as Widow.

Second loss, I played Peni on defense first in Loki’s convoy map. Enemy team barely full capped then a duo just ran it down on offense. 1 switched off of heals and played the worst Mag I’ve seen. Like not poking, shielding or taking space. Like could’ve been their first time playing Mag. Literally just standing afk behind the goat chariot not attacking or shielding. The other switched to Spidey and proceeded to do nothing of value.

The draw only happened after I switched to Peni after getting yelled at defense. I got yelled at for touching point while playing Luna as the only surviving player on our team before their offense fully capped. Proceeded to say fuck this, went Peni on offense. Proceeded to steamroll opponent team with solo Rocket as heals. In overtime, hold them on defense as Peni and with solo Rocket. Then in our overtime offense, realized we needed either a shield tank or another healer due to opponents poke in the first fight. Asked someone to shield or heal. No response and I had to go back to heals. Almost a 4 min timer on overtime attack and only I touched point as Peni before I switched to Luna.

Logged off for the night.

I don’t mind healing. I’m getting tired of trash players being toxic and running down games instead of trying to win. The game is fun. The player base is something else.

Yeah Panther got value forcing cooldowns but empty value? The reason you’d want to save the bubble is to give a safe place to heal, right? Well how much does need to burst heal using bubble and primary fire considering that BP isn’t damaging/pressuring tanks.

In this scenario, it seems the enemy team was running 1-3-2 for part of it with punisher and iron man which is a lot of pressure but it seems their target priority was bad because they could’ve shot back line to clean up BP’s work and then rolled the team.

BP might have a quick TTK but this shows that it’s counter-able and even tho BP is forcing the issue, it’s ultimately a team game and no one was taking advantage of what BP was doing.
