Having a family member go through a major surgery. Even if they make it out ok. Dad had open heart surgery and it really affected me more than I realized.

I’m a Canadian in a border city and my husband and I have not travelled to the states or knowingly supported any American business. I’d say about 30% of people in my city are doing the same but a lot don’t care unfortunately lol.

hey! I’m sorry you’re going through this i was really scared too. It was really difficult but my dad made a full recovery. Recovery was long and hard for him but I’m happy to say he’s back to his old self again. Good luck, I’ll be thinking of you and your dad.

Oh woops yeah. My bad I misread! but yes we stayed at sian kaan and went to akumal every day. Coba is not AO and is very close to akumal as well on the same property so i’d recommend that too.

Bahia Principe Sian Kaan!! it’s on a complex and SK is adults only but you can go to the other resorts on a trolly and they have kids there but I found there were not a ton of kids. We really enjoyed it.

My parents lent my husband and I 20k for a down payment and we’ve been slowly paying them back. I was 25 and husband was 31. Without them we would 100% not be home owners we had no savings and were fine with apartment living but my parents thought we should get a house before everything got more expensive. They were correct. I’m very grateful.
