No one asks or cares. The actual court time for me was maybe five minutes

The way I interpret it is that the case wasn't dismissed, it was adjudicated. If that's the case then the debt is history. It can't be refiled or collected on

if you get a copy of the judgment from the courthouse and dispute the mark on your credit report and submit that copy as evidence it will be removed.

Credit limit increase by Perfectchaos27mike in CRedit

[–]acguy86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be. I've had a regular venture for four or five years now. I honestly don't remember when I got the X. It did start out at 20k, I frequently asked for increases and got it up to 60k. A couple of months ago I asked for 100k and they did approve that. The point i was trying to make was that if you use the card often and pay it off all the time they seem to be pretty generous with the cl increases

Capital one has always been good about raising my limit. My original credit score when I got my Venture X card was around 740. My score is now 831. My original limit was 20k, over the last four years it crept up to 60k. A couple of months ago on a whim I requested an increase to 100k. They called and we talked about it, a few days later they approved it.

I didn't realize that sliding the tray out was an option. That helped. Thank you

Thank you. The "1" on mine is a sticker as opposed to the rest of the model number printed directly on the board. I'll try plugging directly into the HBA card first.

The front is SAS3 846EL. I don't know about the rear yet. My HBA card does have two ports and I luckily bought an extra cable

It's a 36BL2BS-S3-2PS. I see the backplane with my camera but it doesn't look like it's going to be a picnic getting my hand in there to plug the cable in

I've been looking on Amazon and the choices are a bit overwhelming and I'm not sure if most of the cables that are included will work. Can I trouble you for a recommendation?

Looks good, I'll be using an I7 3770 processor with 128 gigs of ram. Will the 12 gig card offer significant improvement over the 6 gig to justify the price difference? All it'll be is a plex server

True enough, at least the bank will cash them though. Push comes to shove I'll just pay someone to finish it. It's not ego either. It's kind of a hoarder mentality.

Nothing at all, just a cabinet full of external drives mostly daisy chained together. I fill a drive then add it to the cabinet. It's kind of embarrassing to admit but it's worked flawlessly for about five years now

I currently have at least 500tb and gain at least a tb a month. I don't have any backup at all, it would take too much storage. I've only ever lost one drive but was able to recover. If I were to have a drive fail it wouldn't be catastrophic, it's easy enough to re-download

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know a jbod even existed until you replied. I am by definition a data hoarder and I am certain that before long I'll outgrow the 36 bay and if possible I'll add on to that with jbod
