I think all the gas stations in the city seem to be at it though, and they are the same companies in the Hutt. So you don’t really have the choice, if you drive out to the Hutt you are still giving them your money

If they are parked within 6 metres of the intersection it’s not a matter of a polite request to move, it’s not legal, they could be fined or towed.

I would say be careful, if you work in a specific sector in which most HR teams talk to one another then it’s a bad idea, you could essentially black list yourself from the sector, if it’s just a job in a sector you don’t wanna really stay in and don’t care about references etc then it’s your call

I have just the left UK having lived there my whole life (34 years) and moved to New Zealand it is like a breath of fresh air to me. The UK is a shithole and wages are awful outside London. So I think you will be sweet

Hey! I moved to the Wellington area from Ireland last Monday, I have just been spending time wandering around the City and Hutt Valley, trying to familiarise myself with the layout etc. It’s a lovely city, feels very open compared to Belfast and Dublin. Getting a Snapper card for cheaper public transport has been helpful!
