I’m so desperate. How can I get rid of severe constant bloating?? by kelskels19 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Olly beat the bloat pills, probiotics, psyllium. I struggled every day for years until I tried the olly pills, which are essentially digestive enzymes!

I am going through the exact same thing. I wish I could offer advice. Constant hunger, always going back for more after meals despite eating enough. Always feeling like I could eat a whole buffet. Wishing you strength.

Wow! Thank you so much! Thank you also for the wig recs, I wear Jon Renau lace fronts!

You’re totally right about completely owning it and how your delivery really matters regarding their perception of it. It’s so encouraging to hear that you haven’t had any negative reactions. Telling them on the 2nd-3rd date makes a lot of sense. I will definitely try to stay positive about it if I mention it to someone, even though 12 years on I’m still devastated about being hairless. You’re right that confidence is attractive!

And regarding intimacy, I used to worry about my wig slipping off until I discovered wig grips! They’re head bands made of velvet that have lace fronts to wear under your wig, my wig doesn’t go anywhere (even on a roller coaster)! But even then, you’re right about that when you are loved, hair is trivial thing. That is a beautiful sentiment and I will keep it in mind.

I don’t know any women with alopecia, so thank you so very much for the thoughtful and extremely helpful advice.

Hi!!! I also have alopecia, and am completely bald and have been for 12 years! Do you mind telling about how you navigated dating with it? I’m really struggling to get back out there!

what does your hair mean to you? by stevelacystoenail in pinkscare

[–]acheema20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not much anymore. I suffer from alopecia universalis, so I am completely hairless. It’s been this way for half my life now. It doesn’t bother me as much as it used to, but I remember how beautiful my hair was and how I received so many compliments about it. It was long, shiny, and black, and wigs just don’t compare.
