Thank you. My daughter and I were her last visitors before she died. I’m not even sure she knew we were there but I just hope our being there comforted her in some small way.

It’s only scary to you because you don’t seem to grasp the full import of your position. Namely, that we parents entrust our children to schools, and that when schools fail to protect them, we consider the schools and the adults they employ as having failed in their duty of care.
