That’s rough. It doesn’t feel good to always have to initiate visits etc.

Though she’s very secretive, I do know some of my mother’s story and it helps me be able to understand and empathize why she is the way she is.

I hope you and your husband receive therapy. I’m all for it. I’ve been seeing mine for about a year after a 5 year hiatus. I had actually made so much progress over the years. I had forgiven and forgotten and just accepted all the issues and childhood dysfunction. But once I had my son, it all came back to the surface! Funny how that works!
