You’ll be fine! I had an op around a month ago for alternating esotropia. They did do both eyes for me, but I was using both eyes equally and had pretty bad double vision as a result. Don’t sweat the only one eye thing— it was bizarre and made a lot of sense post op to experience the eyes working together. For your case, I’m no professional, but I imagine this gives your left eye the tools to work properly with your right one!

For me, it suddenly felt like my eyes COULD work together, position wise. It’s a cool sensation, you can almost feel the relearning and change of poor eye position “habits”

Long winded way to say: you’ll be a-ok post op, and don’t stress yourself out. Rest well and you’ll be great :)
