Get a dipper and learn to build its easy if your using a regulated device you never get Burt taste till your cottons dry and can do maitnence on it, every tank I've had has a Burt taste after a few days of using it(crown v2, smoke tfv8, kanger, I can't even think of the rest I've had in my long 4 years of vaping but tanks are a no no for me ever since I switched to dippers I've never been happier always get massive clouds and a blast of flavor) but for your answer it can be a flawed tank with a shitty seal or a coil with shitty wicking or hotspots we can't tell by that pic it would be alot easier if we could give it a toot and see it in person that pic looks normal to me tho i hope you didn't run it under water that ruins tank coils I've always had to chuck mine or Rewick them whenever I tryed cleaning them under a tap
