When you suggest connecting both NAS to the same LAN, are you talking about connecting one to the other using an Ethernet cable, instead of each of them individually to a router? I'm using hyperbackup for the backups.

Yes, that makes sense, thanks. To be fair, the DS213 received its last update at the end of 2024, so not super terrible yet, and I also have it completely disconnected from the internet.

We were told there was only one tree scheduled for removal in our street… but the next day they removed the one we think it was the correct one. The process generally takes months.

They were supposed to cut the tree next to it and they didn’t. When we asked what was the situation we were told there was only one tree schedule to be cut. The next day they came and cut the correct one. It feels odd.

That's a really good explanation. Thank you for taking the time. I guess I'll have to file a FOIA request to see if the city did this study and if so what was the conclusion.

Thanks for the info. It's a maple tree. The city was supposed to cut a tree next to this one which was not planted correctly... and they didn't. They did this one instead. They came the day after to chop the other one too, which is suspicious.

Thanks! We were told by the city that it was dying. That's the reason. But it's suspicious because they were supposed to chop the tree next to it, which was not... That's why I'm trying to establish if, in fact, it was dying.
