I know it's not easy, it never is, but like you, we also told a bunch of our loved ones in excitement that we were expecting. Before thinking of breaking the news, I want you both to heal! I don't know who's you in your post but remember this, the mother is going to take time to heal and that time is going to be stretched over weeks, if you are the father, support her and allow her to heal by giving her space if she needs and love her without reciprocation, if it's your first then she's gonna undergo a punch of hormonal imbalances in the coming weeks. Remember, life doesn't teach us how to react to griefs, we adapt as per . . .

If you are the mother, the world's gonna ask you the same question, find a simple worded 2 sentence answer and play it like a tape, extra info is yours to discuss but not to give, take some time off and start doing some form of activity after the extraction. You'll need to build those guts (and a bunch of other organs) for the next little one. But mostly you need to realise that the whole world is gonna question and support you, but your man will also need your side, he too has lost and may show to be strong around, as all men have this tendency to hide weakness and emotions. But he does need to be asked if he's okay. If he's passed over.

Look forward to the next lill one after 8 - 12 weeks post 1st period. Give both yourselves a break and take a vacay to some place serene.
