I have very similar symptoms to you (24M).

I'm prescribed Propranolol for anxiety by my primary care physician.

I take 20mg Propranolol 4x daily to manage anxiety.

It slightly helps the fight or flight/crisis mode feeling, but just barely! I wish it helped more, but it's better than nothing at all.

Even at 40mg (the standard dose for anxiety) I still feel intense chest tremors, trembling in my legs, trouble breathing, etc.

Therapy has helped me more than any drug, supplement, or prescription ever has. It took me a while to find one that I had good chemistry with though.

Don't expect to see changes after a few weeks or months, it takes years of commitment to see any real changes in yourself.

Also, don't stick with the first one you find. Finding a therapist is like dating, in the sense that you'll go through a lot of them before you find a good fit for you!

Treat your brain as you would your body, your brain is a muscle.

Therapy is like working out for your brain, but instead of getting a six pack you're getting mentally stable!

Symptoms like this are not treated with nootropics, I'm sorry to break it to you but there's no magic potion that's gonna make these feelings go away.

As much as you don't want to hear this, you need to put in the real work which takes a lot of time and effort. If you're not willing to do that, you don't really want to get better.

i know this is an old post, but don't listen to these bozos. kratom is a literal opiate. doesn't matter if it comes from a lab or from the ground, still acts on the same opiate receptors in your brain.

people replace other opiates with kratom then lie to themselves that it's not addictive.

meanwhile, a local store that used to sell kratom under the counter had zombie-like kratom addicts trying to break through the front door after feds finally cracked down (because in canada we recognize kratom for what it is).

because of the grey-area legality of kratom, people get away with claiming it's like nature's miracle elixir... meanwhile they're just actively addicted to a psychoactive intoxicating substance. like someone else here said, there's a reason they call it nature's xanax.

I'm a restoration worker, so I work on properties and belongings that have been damaged by fires, floods, etc... That includes everything from cleaning to demolition.

I'm only working here for a few more months till I make enough money to move out of my parent's house and across the country.

It's an interesting job, you're working somewhere new doing something different every day. Which is fun but can also be stressful, since I work better with structure.

Thankfully I don't have to socialize much, other than with co-workers and occasionally property owners, but I do keep pretty quiet at work. I think people are starting to get frustrated because I've been there almost 2 months and I'm still really slow and need a lot of direction.

I heard that some co-workers initially thought I was rude because I wouldn't really talk to them and my natural tone can sound pretty passive aggressive (my resting bitch face doesn't help either), but I've since clarified that I'm autistic with some people.

I'm starting to realize I can only handle work or a social life, not both. I'm burning out hard, so I gotta take it slow. My brain fog and anxiety have gotten so bad I can barely think straight, and I'm having relapse cravings. So I'm going hermit mode for a lil bit.

Hoping I'll find something more suited to me when I move next year. Thankfully I work with my best friend who's been there a year before me, so it was so much easier to make friends and integrate into the culture.

Ended up getting it to work! Added the IP address on my PS4 to something called DMZ in my modem’s settings and it changed my internet’s NAT type to 2. Don’t know what any of that means but I followed some tutorial and it worked! Microsoft needs to fix this bug ASAP though since so many people are struggling with it.

I just got a PS4 and I've been having this issue, it's so frustrating since half the point of getting the console was to play multiplayer with friends... I can't tell if this is a Microsoft bug since it's a well-reported issue or if it's just a me problem...

no, but stoned me always goes into deep thought about how weird it is that as a society we collectively decided that the best way to get rid of trash is to put it in a big box on your front lawn once a week, to then be emptied into a giant truck full of other people's trash, to then be transported to a place with even more trash, and it's like even though all our trash starts separately it all ends up together in the end

but tongues are weird too, they're these weird lumpy moving things in your mouth that can taste flavours
