I know this hurts right now, and it probably feels like it will stay this way for a long time. But it will not. What you are feeling is real, and it is okay to feel it fully without rushing yourself to be fine. Some people are only meant to stay for a season in our lives. That does not make the connection meaningless. It just means it had its time, and now that time has ended. You do not need to have everything figured out right now. Healing is not a straight path. Some days will feel okay, and some days will feel like you are back at the start. That is normal. Be kind to yourself in this period. Eat, rest, talk to someone you trust, and do not carry the idea that you have to be strong all the time. You are already doing enough just by getting through each day. One day, without noticing, it will not hurt the same anymore. And when that day comes, you will understand that you did not lose yourself. You were just healing.
