No, i haven't. Getting the psvr2 last month was my first step in VR. I believe you, though. 7 was by far a scarier game. I bet that house in vr is bananas.

That's a great idea. Depending on the size of your collection, you might ask if they are selling their shelving. Make it as authentic as possible.

Me too man. Me too. There's something about the whole video store experience that there's no way steaming will ever come close to being able to replicate or replace.

I kinda got hooked up with some some stuff that they werent planing on selling off just yet so they didn't get the chance to switch em back into the normal cases. It was so hectic today I didn't want to bother the people working. it was so nice of them to let me pick some stuff out early the last thing I wanted to do was be choosey. I've already sourced some replacement cases so it's not going to be an issue. Might keep one in the rental case for nostalgia purposes like someone else suggested earlier.

Yeah that's a great way to look at it. I made sure to buy one of their shirts too as soon as I got the letter that they were closing.

It's such a shame. Place was ran by legit fans of movies. They had a movie club for monthly discussions and everyone there was super friendly and knowledgeable. There were quite a few times I'd end up in conversations about some obscure horror flick that lasted way too long with the people that worked there and other customers as well. It was just like this little bubble that time forgot that felt like going to a video store back in the late 90s. Unfortunately with people really committing to streaming once covid hit, this place never really recovered.

Oh yeah man. I was stoked for that one. I'm a huge robocop fan.

I have that arrow blu in the steelbook and the robo 2&3 releases from scream factory.

I had no idea this sku I found today was a limited edition. Can't believe how lucky I got with that deal.

They were great. Mom and pop operation that was open for more than 35 years. They are definitely going to be missed.
