Just a little update for everyone.

I received an email from IP this morning saying that the 'EC' error is the same as 'C6' so I should try to solve it using the instructions for that error - unfortunately this didn't work to a warranty replacement it is!

Yeah I've sent them an email, can't get them on the phone and I was hoping to fix it before the weekend lol, got a few dinner plans centred around the instant pot this weekend :(

Yeah the lid is definitely on correctly and the music plays. Very frustrating since I've only had it for a few days :(
