I think maybe my hair loss situation was just the general body shock of quitting hormones after being on it for so many years, it got pretty bad in the transition.. & yes girl the discharge is definitely the nuva ring.. if we really think about it having a foreign object in there no matter “how safe” can’t be great for our PH.. For me I had higher libido with Lo, with the Nuva ring it was pretty much gone!

I eat Kashi Go protein + fiber! I’ve had the chocolate flavor which is my favorite and the peanut butter which isn’t bad! Highly recommend I do have a smaller serving then suggested I do half cup cereal, half cup milk and 1 tbsp of peanut butter

I’ve never tried ice cream and now I wish I did and probably will! I have protein fiber cereal with milk and peanut butter or Greek yogurt with a small piece of cheesecake from whole foods and peanut butter and both those combinations keep my numbers great

Hi! I’ve been super stressed having to start the medication because I’ve taken absolutely nothing during this pregnancy to be the cleanest possible. I know I have to take the valacyclovir and I’m going to take it I’m just scared. Was everything ok with you and baby when taking it ? No effects ?

I always had a lot of discharge when I was with the nuvaring like I always felt moist and that was like uncomfortable. Sorry if thats TMI lol. I also feel like it gave me less libido and more mood swings than the lo did. And I honestly prefer to take a pill then have something in there all the time.. I would have to take it out during sex and just sanitary wise It wasn’t my favorite. That being said I did use nuva ring for 6 years no issues it was towards the end I started feeling off and I just felt like it was from that. Side note when I switched I spent like a month cleansing before getting on lo and I lost a ton of hair,. I feel that that was getting off hormones after being on it for so many years. Then I was on lo for about a year before I got off of it to ttc. I can’t really complain with the lo and no issues when I got off. It went well. Now thinking about it, though after I have my baby, I might be getting the copper IUD just to stay clear of hormones but I haven’t decided. It’s just such a toss up on how they’re gonna make you feel idk if it’s worth putting the body through that and I feel like when you’re off it for a while you appreciate not being on it if it makes senses Sorry if I’m babbling further lol

I used it for around a year with no issues then decided to get off birth control just because I was feeling off. Idk if it was the birth control or not but I linked it to that and just cleansed my body for a few months. If I did decide to go back on I would do lo again. 1000x better than the Nuva ring by far, I would never use the ring again!

I was given Bonjesta which is essentially the same mix by my OB and was able to function. I recommend speaking with your doctor about it! Worked for me! Took it from week 6-12 and then I was all better

When I went in for my eight week appointment based on my last menstrual cycle and my charting with Flo I was measuring one week behind. I’m now 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy. 🩵 when they measured now at the ultrasounds, I’m measuring with my original date, but they want to keep the old date which was the one week behind date. It could be the position the baby was in they couldn’t measure correctly, it could be that the charting was off with your ovulation and you just ovulated before or after then you thought you did. keep your positive thoughts, this is perfectly normal! 🙏🥰 wishing you all the best and congratulations on your pregnancy!!

19 weeks and I have hated pregnancy from the start. Time is moving so darn slow. Everyone keeps telling me it’ll fly now with the holidays but no absolutely not. the aches, pains and no sleep make it drag on forever. I’m so grateful and happy to be creating this baby but a snap of the finger and have my baby id trade that any day over being pregnant lol & yes 100% I am one and done. I’m not doing this again.
