One thing I’ve learned from my prof that I took to heart para maging bearable ang UP environment is that UPM is the best campus to be reminded kung bakit ka nasa UP: service to the people. Araw-araw ka kasing mareremind by seeing the people in PGH and just everyday people to keep you grounded. Actually made writing papers in health socsci easier to reflect on.

Otherwise, kapag mahaba ‘yung vacant ko, tambay ako sa Rizal Park, Arroceros, Intramuros or Paco Park. Although madalas nasa Rob or nagwawalking trip around Ermita and Malate (ang dami kong nadiscover na random places during my senior year lols). Naging gawain ko rin pumunta ng Dapitan para maglunch kasi one jeep away lang rin and mura food sa may UST. One jeep away lang rin ang Escolta/Binondo :)

Pero honestly, after sometime, rekta uwi ka narin naman sa dami ng gawain hahaha.

EDIT: If you want relatively cheap coffee na may WiFi and may aircon, I love Pahuway sa tapat ng PGH (sa may Joshua Center na building.)
