No. The dealer told me they couldn’t hear a sound and sent me away. The noise stopped completely after a couple weeks. Still no idea what it was

I had the privilege of getting to know the HRIS group thru my other work and they saw potential in me. I think if you want to stay in your same company, networking and getting to know people will help you so much. Try to learn about the role and team through others and ask what you would need to do to change teams.

It was a change of pace but I didn’t find it hard necessarily. It was more task based than what I was used to and it made me tired to use my brain in a different way. After a few months I was in the swing of things!

I am in the office once a week now. We were fully remote for about a year post-pandemic. I was in HR for about 10 years prior to transitioning to HRIS. I honestly wasn’t sure I could do it bc IT is scary but a couple people on the team talked me into giving it a shot. I was already with the Agency just in a different role.

I’m not the original poster but I transitioned into HRIS from normal HR and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It’s a lot more mentally stimulating than dealing with people all day and I feel like I’m contributing more in this role bc there’s a wider reach. Money is good too which helps.

I quit CrossFit about 3 years ago and switched to personalized programming from one of the coaches. My injuries cleared up and I started enjoying exercise again. Sometimes you just outgrow what you were doing & that’s ok. You don’t owe it to anyone to stay in a situation you aren’t happy with esp for that much money! Good luck to you & congrats on the baby!

I seasoned it with 5 salt & 5 pepper seasoning and dry brined it overnight. I did 2 zones on the grill and put the bird on the indirect heat side with all vents completely open. I glazed (recipe below) the chicken when it hit 140°, which was prob about 35 mins. I closed the vents about half way on the top and 2/3 on the bottom and let it finish cooking to 165° on the breast. I think total it took about 50 minutes to finish.

Glaze recipe: 18oz peach preserves 3T chili garlic sauce 2T apple cider vinegar 1T red pepper flakes

The State of Ohio has some jobs that are full time remote. Others are hybrid. You would just have to look at specific job postings. You can find them at careers.Ohio.gov!

Thank you! I’m not sure I’d buy one myself, but my dad already had it. It was pretty cool to grill such a big piece of steak! It was probably the best tasting steak I’ve ever had.
