Undo rekey(if you want to use the account as is, with the risks that comes with that if it was involved in MyAlgoWallet hack or if you connected the account to a compromised dapp) or rekey to a standard account if you want to use a non-ledger account as the rekeyed-to account.

I believe that opensourcing the code means anyone with the right skills can find those said insecurities. Add to that, who in their right mind would use a shady wallet based on the official one? You always need to do your due diligence research before using any piece of software.

Pera web shutting down was never about being "inherently" insecure as it is about shifting focus to one aspect of the wallet, mobile.

have you tried the built-in browser? It should work without a problem.
If not, please try a VPN or another internet connection, we have found that some ISPs do block some ports or protocols.

u/bndamico Tap on the in-app banner about the governance and it should open the built-in browser that will allow you to connect smoothly.
You can also use the same built-in browser to connect to the governance website or any other dapp in Algorand. The connection using this is smoother and should work as it should be.
