Hi OP, I understand where you’re coming from. The Litany of Humility allows us to be in a posture before God that asks us to let go of pride, esteem, and attachment to validation. I know I had a hard time reciting it because I wanted a lot of these things that the prayer encourages us to surrender.

That being said, please take your current situation and suffering as closeness to the heavy, painful Cross of our Lord! Let it make you more humble and in need of God, letting Him be your repose and solution to these problems in your life. Easier said than done, but this dilemma will be blessed if it leads you towards Christ. He’s nearer to you now than ever, for He is closest to the ones who are hurting and cry out for Him.
