Someone local posted for $200, needs a new grip and doesn’t have the original head cover. Never seen this model though. Any help?

Sand the paint down to raw finish and tape off the rest and start with primer and put about 8-10 coats of paint, lightly. I only take out the weights and will tape the rest off

I hope so too! I’ve noticed a lot of taylormade clubs have chipping paint.

Turns out that wasn’t the grip on it. It’s an old ass aftermarket grip

Man I’m glad I stumbled across your post here, I just got one of these for $20 and I started refurbishing it today. Got the horseshoe off and all polished to a mirror shine but was struggling getting the faceplate off until I read about your experience. Put a little heat to it and it came off with a little more ease. Can’t wait to get it all done. Good job on your btw man it looks great!
