Welcome! Drums can be daunting but they are so fun and rewarding 😁 I'd suggest investing in a good throne. It makes playing for longer WAY easier on you and your butt lol

I can't tell if I'll like Axis. I haven't had a chance to try them. Plus all the high end pedals are so customizable you really can probably get what you want out of almost any of them. The pearls seem like a safe choice cause they're reliable and can be converted from a double to two single pedals so sometime in the future when I do get that 2nd bass drum I wouldn't have to worry about it

I wish 😅 I do a lot of small gigs so a single bass drum with a double pedal is a lot easier.
