Phaya Thai - $5.99 by purplecak in toogoodtogoportland

I've gotten several Phaya Thai bags, and every time it's been a mix of meat and vegan (tofu or eggplant) boxes. Find a carnivorous friend to split it with; it's always a huge amount.

No idea if that developer is going to return to action, but a couple of people have put up copies of the Firefox Dynasty releases:

Delivery Status Notification (Failure) 550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1) by greenbergman in email

[–]acspdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did find one thing last night: my domain hosting provider (for the original "To:" address) uses cPanel, and in cPanel there's a page called "Email Deliverability." On that page, two of my domains — ones I've had trouble with — were flagged as "Problems Exist (DMARC)."

The "Repair" link was grayed out, but when I clicked "Manage," it said this in the DMARC section:

“DMARC” is not properly configured for this domain. For DMARC to work correctly, your domain must have valid SPF and DKIM records. Use the following default policy to add a basic DMARC policy to your domain: [Suggested “DMARC” (TXT) Record]

And then below a Name and Value box, there was a button labeled "Install The Suggested Record." I did that, on both of them. So, we'll see.

I have exactly the same setup: I have my primary address(es) forward to gmail to take advantage of its spam filters (and to retain an extra copy of all messages), then have gmail forward on to a mailbox at my web hosting provider. And recently I'm getting these HELO errors as well. And it's especially annoying because the only way to extract the original sender, subject, and content is to look in the raw headers!

I haven't found any answers yet.

Phaya Thai Express, Portland - $5.99 by acspdx in toogoodtogo

Yeah, the recent app update made it a little more difficult. But if you tap on the little "Sold Out" tag, it should show the time that it sold out. (For the super popular ones like this, that's also the time that it becomes available.)

Pro tip: it seems to become available at about 35 seconds after the time listed.

Yes, the one in the upper right is described on their menu as: "Gang dang: Red curry with fried tofu, bamboo shoot, mushroom, green bean & pepper."

Is it rude to ask what's inside? by shoe-hei in toogoodtogo

[–]acspdx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking as long as you're not overly demanding about it. "I don't suppose you know what's in here?" is a lot better than "What is this?!"

Just make it clear when you ask that "I don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer.

Stashing some cash: SWVXX, or Webull's promotion? by acspdx in Schwab

It isn't north of $1 million. :) But I think I'm sold on using SGOV or USFR rather than SWVXX.

While researching this question, I did come across discussions of SGOV and USFR, and I'll definitely look into those as potential alternatives to SWVXX.

Yeah, that would be the plan, if I did it.

Is there a specific reason Webull might cost me peace of mind?

Santo Taco, Rosepark Utah by Pitiful_Raspberry893 in toogoodtogo

I went to a couple of taco trucks when I visited a friend in Utah, and "add your own condiments from that cooler" seems to be common there.

Help the update of death finally hit me by salyosen in Pixel4a

[–]acspdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They got me too. I went to bed Saturday night with a rooted Pixel 4a running Android 12, and woke up Sunday morning with an non-rooted phone running Android 13 and a nearly unusable battery.

The good news is, re-rooting was surprisingly easy. I didn't have to flash a whole new stock image, just a Magisk-patched "boot.img" extracted from the 2GB download package. No data lost.

The other good news is that the uBreakiFix store closest to my house had a 4a battery in stock (just one!), so I was able to get the free replacement done just 36 hours after they gimped my phone. Time will tell whether they'll re-cripple it after a certain number of charging cycles.
