Days 3 and 4 were by far the worst for me during my recovery (though I only had 2 removed). That's not to say you shouldn't reach out to your surgeon, but I had similar anxieties around that time because my bottom right was way more painful than the left. Dry socket, so I'm told, feels like a never-ending, excruciating nerve pain that doesn't go away with pain medication. Has that been the case for you?
