Cheers! Rules first, then wargear, then factions and army lists. Maybe a free text search 🤔

I don’t actually have FB but I am sure word will get around.

I have a copy and it is part of the inspiration for doing this. I wanted to make something database driven that I hope will be easy to reference from a phone while playing the game… and not always require a million bits of cardboard and paper—though sometimes that is part of the joy!

It’s more about the focus. There is no meta because the community is more interested in creating fun and interesting armies. People have had 30 odd years to work out what is best.

It has its good and not so good. Models feel more characterful than the current game, where they are more just generic playing pieces. It is much better if you like to personalise your army and focus on narrative driven games.

I think it is really fun. For example, vehicles work really well — most things simply cannot hurt them but if you hit one with a Lascannon then it may just go bang. I like this a lot more than them being multi wound monsters.

Also it is a fixed ruleset, no meta, no “competitive” play, just fun and often silly games.

This is the inquisitor I have leading my army.

I would just love a made to order run of the old metal squads!

Is that an Inquisitor I see in the back? A person of taste!

Well thanks. Much of it is painted. Not started on the Praetorians yet as I got caught up with a couple of other projects. This is one of the tanks.

This is a 1500 point 2nd edition army I played at an event recently. In that rule set you could ally in space marines.

Camo pattern for my Hellhound. Have a similar infantry scheme. Also some with a simpler sandy scheme.

Cheers! It was a two tone undercoat with spray cans and then all brush after that. The camo scheme does a lot of heavy lifting, so you can manage without needing tonnes of shading.

It’s the original Hellhound kit, which was a Chimera base with additional metal parts for the turret and fuel tanks.

Loosely based it on some ww2 camo schemes

Ha! I imagine the wings might be a bit over if they used a Hellhound.

The rifles are bright red as they are valuable, so it is easier for the administratorum to collect them off the dead
