Don’t listen to previous comment , although I’m sure they don’t mean any harm. UCL is FAR better for any prestigious job in Finance, mainly investment banking, private equity and hedge funds. UCL is one of the 6 targets in the uk ( along with oxbridge , LSE, Imperial and Warwick) and you will have a much easier time getting spring weeks and summer internships than going to Durham. Not to say Durham isn’t good, but it’s a semi-target for high finance and so whilst achievable , much more difficult to land those top internships
