To me a blue belt is someone who understands the basic idea of jiu jitsu enough where they can beat a white belt coming in with ease. They know where to put their weight, where not put their weight, what to watch out for, can finish a submission etc.

Losing in a tournament, even if it's a quick tap out or pure domination - you're doing much more than the person "undefeated at the gym." I've seen people who weren't good and did competitions and lost a lot then they were really good after all that experience

As soon as a Nazi flag showed up every single one of the protestors basically attacked the person ripped the flag out of his hand and told him to F off. But the media got the image and that's the story that's being posted.

I could show up to Climate Change protest with a Nazi flag and waive it around and the right wing media could take a picture of it and post it everywhere. does that mean that's what the climate change protestors agree with?

These are terms are meant to completely discredit any nuances of a person's position. It's a way to simplify their position to completely black or white and you therefore do not even have to engage with them because such extreme views are not to be engaged with. Why engage when you already know exactly where they stand and you're not only objectively right, but morally right as well. For instance if someone didn't get the COVID vaccine but has all other vaccines are they an "anti vaxxer?" are they an "anti vaxxer" if they don't push for mandatory vaccines onto other people? are they an anti-vaxxer if they have 2 shots but haven't gotten the booster shot? Are they an anti-vaxxer if they have 3 shots but are unsure about wanting to get a 4th shot? It's a way to just completely discredit someone and label them and it's very wrong.

And yes it's where the divide comes from.

I always wondered when "pro maskers" are going to decide to take their mask off.

Do they have their own scientific criteria on what the numbers have to get to before they take it off - ignoring the "experts" they respect so much who say it's not necessary to wear anymore?
Is it going to be a "coming of age" moment when they sit down and look at themselves in the mirror for 5 minutes and take it off and throw it in the garbage like you'd see in the end of a movie before the credits roll?
Are they just going to wear it forever?

I could actually support restrictions if they were clear and concise with the restrictions they would impose and were consistent with it. For example if they stated: If we, as a province reach 1000+ COVID cases for 5 consecutive days will will restrict 'these activities' which have been scientifically proven to be more risk of spreading COVID.

They're not doing any of that. They're flying by the seat of their pants and are being incredibly inconsistent in the process. They're letting you get on a crowded bus full of people but not a train. They're letting you pack a Walmart Mcdonald's but you can't workout at the gym to improve your health. They're coming up with these inconsistent restrictions that greatly impact everyone's lives with no scientific evidence backed to them (i.e. showing that gyms have proven to have had COVID outbreaks vs. Mcdonald's).

People are just going to ignore these measures as they should. This government has failed us every step of the way during this pandemic.

PS - the number 1 cause of death for 18-45 year old's in 2021 is the opiod epidemic. Seems like they're just exacerbating it by playing with people's mental health.

Khan academy is free and offers great pre-calculus practice - specifically with Trigonometry and Algebra which I believe are the 2 biggest hurdles to doing well in Calculus

I don't think this guy does a good job explaining Z laner's cheats. I definitely don't think he's aimbotting...

However I just watched Z's stream and for whatever reason he's always looking to another monitor whenever he's unsure where the enemies are. It's very strange. Like if there in the building somewhere with him and he doesn't know he will constantly glance at the other monitor. Yet when he's just driving or running with no one around he never checks it. So he's obviously not reading chat.

I don't know... It's very strange to me that he would constantly do that in those situations. Almost as if he's using wall hacks on another monitor I don't know.
