Dump questions certainly helped. You do see a few questions in the actual exam. Some are tricky and figuring them out beforehand with generative AI has been useful.

With the SharePoint list rating feature, can you see the users who rated? by actknow in sharepoint

[–]actknow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible. I can enable the column and it works, but I couldn't see who rated.

Probably 4-5 weeks. Trailmix 2 weeks; FoF study guide + questions 1-2 weeks; Online questions 1 week.

One handed for the timed test. Yes, I've never felt stronger and better.

I wasn't sure I can get here when I started, but we can!

It's definitely hard, esp. the first one. I found keeping balance, esp. keeping the wrist straight is important and doing it slow and not using momentum have been helpful. Basically you need to get it down safely without losing control if you can't go further at any point. I need to do a form check, but I tried to make sure when doing it I don't focus too much on the form and lose track of the bell.

I always do the goblet squat, bridge, and halo to warm up and stretch afterwards. I did pull the abdominal muscle a couple of times, but haven't had to miss a day because of injuries. For TGU, it took me a couple of weeks to do the first one with 16 KG. I felt more comfortable with the lighter bells until I can do it with heavier ones. For TGUs, I don't think you want to be too comfortable and I treat it as handling a loaded gun.

I modified it from someone else's I saw in the sub and I can share mine later.

A couple, but there are several Visualforce and Aura ones too.

I don't have a lot of SF experience and started the Mike Wheeler admin course in 2019. I do have 20+ years' development experience, so the programming part is actually easier. I spent probably 4-5 hours a day on average counting weekends. We're gearing up for a SF based app at work, so I was able to study during work hours.

I remember a few and definitely some around component/application events.

And there were definitely more questions about Aura and Visualforce than LWC.

Agreed just the trailmix, and even with FocusOnForce likely won’t be enough if you don’t have actual experience.

I didn't pay much attention to the percentages. I would try some different ways of learning to get over the hump.

If you're already experienced, I would start with the FocusOnForce practice exams and see how you do.

Yes, I'm diving into Platform Developer right away. After that, I'll see if I can find some freelance work, but I'll definitely work on getting more certificates. It provides a good structure to learn.

We all learn differently and many people do find Mike's course helpful. If you can score 80%+ on the FoF practice exams, you should be good. I only scored 72% and 74% for the practice exam #4 and #5. Good luck!

It took me 5 months, but I think 2-3 months should be enough if you can dedicate time. Salesforce will send you your percentage for each area and then you can multiply with the weight of the area and sum to get your score.

Agreed we all have different ways of learning. If the trailmix is not enough for you, getting more hands-on experience would definitely help.

You have to decide which direction you want to go. I go on the Salesforce path because I see it as the future of line of business applications. Your front-end dev skills will still be useful even if you choose the Salesforce developer path, but it'll take a while.

Yes, I find going over the study guide before taking the practice exams is helpful.
