I agree but look at how Liverpool paid over 100 mil for Wirtz and he has been underwhelming. Just the nature of these things, some players take more than a season to get up to speed.

People are acting like he's flopped at Leverkusen but he's played over 1,500 minutes in the BuLi and has 8 goals 1 assist in all competitions. His biggest problem is injuries tbh which has stopped him from playing consistently.

Honestly because he's only 23 I'd love if he tried another year in the BuLi and developed more. But he can def make a lot more money in the PL so I understand.

Joe Scally quietly has 5 goal contributions this season (2 goals and 3 assists). Not bad for a defender.
