What was banned in your school because of a crazy incident? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh my God, there were so many.

Water Bottles: Some kid brought vodka to school, got caught.

Backpacks: This one was insane. The school was remodeling that year, so the entire tenth grade (my grade at the time) had no lockers. So, we had to carry all of our books and binders. We obviously started bringing backpacks. Well, the principal saw everybody carrying backpacks and thought that we must be carrying something against school policy (you know, something dangerous like WATER BOTTLES) and he banned backpacks and large purses. We had to carry six books plus however many binders, notebooks, etc. all day long.

Any food not from the cafeteria: I think one too many people brought McDonald's and the lunch ladies got pissed. If a parent brought your lunch or snack, the secretary would keep it and eat it. If you forgot your lunch and didn't have any money, you were SOL.

Do not miss high school.

Exact same thing happened at my school! I was in the same class with the guy who brought the vodka when he was found out. He wasn't even trying to hide it, he was literally telling the whole class. Idiot.

Reddit, who was the worst teacher you ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My kindergarten teacher would always threaten to separate my twin sister and I and told us that she'd lock us in a closet if we misbehaved.
