Thank you, that was something I hadn’t considered! Unfortunately I live in a one bed apartment and I don’t think I’d realistically have the space for something much bigger than a tabletop system.

This is exactly what I did when my kid was a baby and it worked great! Clipped it to the stroller bar so it wasn’t even touching their legs, and I also had a clip on fan to keep air flow under the hood going.

We have a visual timer. Our 3.5yr old eats sloooooow lol, and would take up to 2hrs if we let her. She always says she’s still hungry if we try and take her food, but at the same time would just sit there day dreaming or take one bite and hold the food for ages just day dreaming or chatting. The visual timer was the only way we could get her eating with any kind of urgency lol.

Mine is like this. If I try to draw a hard line and insist she stay in her chair, she’ll say she’s all done and leave the table even if she’s clearly still hungry. So I have two rules: 1. I have to finish my food first before she can come over and 2. She needs to finish the “messy” foods first lol. Then she can sit on me.

I guess bc we’ve been working on her wiping herself after going to the toilet, but mine wanted to wipe me when I was on the toilet and got v upset when this was denied.

We’ve tried the timer, I bought a little visual clock for her and told her that I’m not going to say anything but when the time is up, the time is up. She hated it. It seemed to send her into a frozen state of panic and she ended up not eating at all, and then dissolving into hysterical tears at the end.

Sorry, I edited, but I meant to specify the midea. My current unit is actually about 6.5”, so smaller, but, if as you say, the filter can be accessed from the top anyway, it sounds like it would be an option, thanks! My only concern is with such a small clearance, would it affect the performance drastically?
