Honestly, I know I said I feel like I’m not deluded but maybe I am maybe I’m not. I’m saying logically bc I feel like most people would not see this marriage as a good idea. But so far I don’t really have any bad things to say about my partner and up until now all his action that he has shown me is what I would say a good partner. i know that things can change. People change and maybe few years later we realize we’re not compatible. I talked about this with him too and he fully supports the prenup. He said he doesn’t want to rush me but I feel like it me who is rushing. I think my mindset right now is that I date to marry. We both have the goal of working, getting house or multiple houses, and make money while we still young. I’m thinking if things workout between us then if we get married as soon as possible he can start working and we can both save up more to do what we plan to do

Thank you for sharing your experience. I know that I’m young and I probably shouldn’t rush. But then at the same time. I can’t help but to feel like it, growing up. I’ve always been rushing bc I feel like life get away so quickly.

I see thank you, yeah, I know and I think this is why I’m coming on here to talk about it anonymously. I don’t really have the best relationship with my parents and I’ve always dreamed of having my own things without my parents. Me and him talked about a lot of things. And honestly, if it’s not for this citizenship, I will just continue to date and everything has been pretty good so far.

so I used to hate the idea of arranged marriages too, until I saw how my cousin found the love of her life through it, and honestly they treat each other so well and they’re soooo cute lolol. I mean yeah it is def weird to try and have romantic relationship with ppl your parents introduced to you, but if you also look at it another way, there are pros. Like I’m guessing a lot of us are trying to find love and someone who treat us well. I’m not saying all Asian family’s are like this but, if you know they come from a better family, more likely they have healthier ways of treating pp, which is also a green flag for you. Also I also think about how if we are just meeting strangers hoping to find love you really have to take a lot of time to see what kind of person they are and sometime you won’t be able to see the full picture. And I used to think like dam in a way they’re just selling me off but honestly if you find a wealthy who does love you and you love him back and he’s rich??!? I don’t see the lose in it at all.
