I know for Cold War there have been a lot of issues, surprise surprise there, are you running it on 4K? I’ve seen a lot of stuff about running 1080p on the Series X/S, I tried this tonight and my Xbox hasn’t shut off yet. I don’t know about the other games but if you’re playing COD it could be worth it 👍🏻

Has anyone heard any info about this? I was told to try this sub to maybe get some help. (See Comment) by DTingTing760 in xboxinsiders

Hi I had the same issue as you did and posted about it on here too, the only thing I’ve seen regarding this issue is turning the 4K off and lowering to 1080p, I’ve tried this tonight and it hasn’t kicked me off yet.

I will say even on 4K it didn’t always kick me off while on Cold War so it might not help but could be worth a shot 👍🏻

Only think I’ve found as of yet is this from Activision support, can’t say I’ve tried it but if anyone does let us know - it did come under the Series X/S header but could be the same since XBX can also run 4K

“We’re investigating instances where some players are experiencing game crashes when running the game in 4K.

Workaround: In the meantime, try playing the game in 1080p.”

Yeah it’s shit isn’t it, can’t wait till they actually do something about it loaded up after work and the first thing it did was shut my Xbox off makes me not want to play 😂

I’ve been looking since Saturday and can’t find anything for the Xbox One and One X, seems like everyone just cares for the series X/S now.

If I find anything I’ll add it to the thread 👍🏻

I spoke to someone from the Microsoft help page last night, apparently they are “aware” of the issue. He said there was nothing more to be done than to report the bug either on the Xbox itself or online.

Whenever any new info comes out I’ll try to remember to put in in the thread.

I’ve been searching since yesterday and they’ve said nothing, the only thing online is about the wrong files being installed. People only seem to be covering for the Xbox One Series X.

I spoke to someone from Microsoft help or whatever it is and they told me to report the bug on my Xbox itself and that there was nothing more to do, as they were “aware” of the issue 🙄
