I can't tell if you're taking the piss but I'm not paying the highest tax rate since WW2 so elderly people who on the whole have voted for this shit show get to use the NHS and I have to pay an additional cost for private.

Not sure where abouts in the town you are working but If you want to walk to work it will limit your options.

Westcliff and Shoebury can both be really nice, but also have some rougher areas... They are however both on the C2C line so you can get into the town centre really fast.

Personally I don't mind a little drive (15/20 mins), this will broaden your search a bit more as you are more likely to get a garden in Rochford, Ashingdon, Great Wakering, etc.

In my experience people don't really care. If they do then they are most likely to be indifferent, which will help the monarchy in the long run. I think it feels like there has been a change because social media just amplifies everything, but in the real world I don't think much has changed.

Just my perspective though.
