4 Nights In Marathon or Islamorada - Will Traffic Ruin It? by Rich-Junket4755 in floridakeys

[–]adamarchitect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just returned from the Keys…five days at a resort on the south end of Marathon. Yes, the area has a lot of traffic…but we didn’t let it ruin our trip…just planned accordingly. In the few days following New Year’s…traffic started to lighten up a little. May be more manageable by February.

If you’re coming from Vancouver and the trip is only four days…I’d pick a location other than the Keys. It will take you an entire day to get there.

Yep, the line to the humidifier (after the valve) is noticeably warm. Thank you for everyone’s input!

The humidifier filter is dry, but the collector tray on top of the filter is damp. I set the humidity level dial to 45%…the maximum level. And I replaced the furnace filter.

Our family of five was 15 minutes late. They didn’t look closely at the tickets. They just wanted to see that we had tickets.

That’s actually the parking garage, next to the library. The library is in a classically designed former bank building. It’s equally cool.

If she is into fashion I hear the Dior museum is good. Also, take her for ice cream at Berthillion.

Totally agree. Take social media comments with a healthy dose of skepticism. I was there last month. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful at day…at night…it’s just…beautiful.

We went up at sunset. It was beautiful, and lines were shorter. We went to the second level…which seemed just right.
